Time

The wait is killing us. We wanted to try all the avenues before making that last ultimate step. Now, we are totally aware that the last step must be taken but time still drags on. More sessions…… more discussions…….. more evaluations…….. more appointments. In the meantime, it’s one step forward, two steps back. Little successes dashed by a bad day with no apparent underlying causes. He tries so hard but can he really control himself? It’s difficult for him….difficult for his classmates…. difficult for his teachers…... heartbreaking for us. When life is good, time flies by in the blink of an eye. When life is hard, time stands still. Remember, we are doing the right things. Remember, we are getting him the help he needs. Remember, these things take time. But remembering doesn't make the wait any easier.
